Christianity was designed to be a dynamic community centered on the way of Jesus and God's redemptive movement in the world. At The Well, we have intentionally gone back into the New Testament and looked at the history of the church to see what the original church was like, and we are attempting to translate those values of the early church vision into a church for today's culture. Though we are not living in the culture of the first century, we still strive to see our values and biblical teachings holding true to the ancient and sacred teachings in Scripture. Below are six biblical values that we enjoy highlighting:
Missionary Mindset: Every Christ-follower is called to be sent into this world as a light for others.
Faithful Servants: Every Christ-follower is called to serve and use their gifts and talents to advance God's mission.
Prayerful Dependence: Every Christ-follower is called to rely on God's power and strength.
Compassionate Care: Every Christ-follower is called to show kindness, love, and concern for those who need it most.
Authentic Community: Every Christ-follower is called to be known and know others.
Irrational Generosity: Every Christ-follower is called to give sacrificially and cheerfully, even when it doesn't make sense.
